July 2011 Brags! Fair Week!!!!!

So Fair week so far has been a blast! On Monday I showed Sassy and Dingo in Obedience, Rally, and just Dingo in showmanship. On Tuesday I showed Dingo and Sassy in Agility and tonight well tonight I get to hang out at the fair and ride some rides! Bad thing is tho, heat index is 105. Ugh thats HOT! Oh and one more thing that contributed to making this week amazing- My nanny got me a cell phone! So I've had a pretty amazing week.
So here's the amazing results for Monday.
In Rally Dingo was first dog in the ring and he didn't do so well...His little brain couldn't handle the commotion. Sassy did very good, especially for her first time ever showing! I'm very proud of her!!!!
In Obedience Dingo did excellent! He did everything well, he heeled off lead pretty good, but it was really hot and he was getting really tired by the time we got to obedience. He did his drop on recall perfectly and he also did his dumbbell recall perfectly. What really surprised me tho is that in the heat and dogs getting up all around him he stayed on his out of sight sits and downs! Also I chose Dingo to do Conformation with (I had to choose 1 Dog). Dingo and I did great in Conformation! We were in the top 3!!! There was Champion, then reserved Champion, and then us!!! He did really good and everyone thought we would get champion, but its okay that we didn't, I mean I'm glad we looked good out there and I showed him correctly!!! Any ways for obedience... We got Champion in our division and Overall Grand Champion!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sassy also did excellent! I must give credit to my baby girl especially at her first show with all this heat and commotion and everything else!!!! So she did excellent. In Obedience- Her heeling was really good. The only thing was like 2 crooked sits, Oh well. Her figure 8 was good and her recall was excellent. She came right into front and sat and when I told her to, she did a perfect finish. Such a good girl!!!! The thing I was really worried about was her long sits and downs. On her sit I figured she would lie down or on either one get up, but she didn't!!! Any way, Sassy got Champion in her division. She would of gotten reserved overall Grand Champion, but since Dingo got Grand she couldn't get reserved Grand too. Oh well! She did magnificent.
On Tuesday night was Agility. Sassy was first up and the heat was terrible. Sweat was just running off of everyone. Sassy did very well! She actually did perfect until the last 2 or 3 obstacles and she saw the gate, rushed to it, and sat... she wanted to go to her crate, get water and be in front of the fan!!!! But I got her back and we finished the last 2 or 3 obstacles!!! We received reserved Champion in our division! I was very proud of my Stinker Bug!
In Agility Dingo was a bit crazy! He was 4th to last dog of the night and I think he was ready to run agility and get out of there! But I mean I still think he did very well. He was going so fast tho, that he flew over the table, he couldn't get stopped!!! He also missed a jump or 2, but in 4-H that doesn't count!!! In our division, Dingo received Champion!!!!!!

I can't even say how proud I am of them right now! They did so well! And we also had a good time and thats what its really all about!!!!!!!
