On Saturday we drove up to West Lafayette and spent the day at the Purdue Veterinary Medicine Open House. It was amazing. I got to learn a lot about the Purdue Vet School and all about things that I can be doing now to prepare for Vet School.
On Sunday we drove home. But before that we spent the whole day at Purdue again. I got to pet a baby lamb, hold a baby ducky, milk a moo cow, pet a sea urchin, pet a crab (that looked like a spider with pebbles stuck to it), pet a horse-shoe crab, and see baby chicken embryos. It was one amazing day! Mom ate crickets and mill worms... I also got to start growing bacteria....We also looked at tons of flowers and plants. Sunday was exciting! (: Sadly though, we had to drive home. We got home about 8 last night.

The Cute little lamb
The little lamb was so soft and had really fine curly hair.
"My" little ducky... Although I couldn't take him home, I call him my little ducky.
He was so cute! Probably one of my favorite parts of the trip.
This is definetly a highlight of the trip(:
I got to milk a moo cow!
Me and the Cow
Me and the cow spent a lot of time together....
5 day old Chicken Embryo...They take the top part of the outer shell off and cover it with plastic.
Amazingly the Chicken can stay alive and even hatches normally. I was able to see its heart beat!
And the Embryo looks like a tiny baby. You can see the chicken forming!
More of the Chicken Embryo...
Me petting the crab that looks like a spider with pebbles stuck to it...
Petting the Sea Urchin... It was spikey, but cool feeling.
So cool! I got to pet the Horse-Shoe Crab... His underneath side was so cool!
Me petting the Horse-Shoe Crab. It's eyes are by the thumbs of the girl holding it...
