The first days of high school have been absolutely amazing! I couldn't have asked for a better first few days of a school year. It's been a much better year than last year, already! Haha. I am having such a good time and coming home every day in such a good mood (which hardly ever is the case when I get home from school till this year!)... I have also been waking up before my alarm each morning. My alarm is set at 4:30 and I'm wide awake at 4 and quite ready to go!!! The bus picks me up at 6:30 and I have a group of friends, we all wait at the bus stop together. High school is a lot of fun and we are all crazy! Classes are good, already lots of homework (especially in Physics) but that's what I get for taking academic honors classes! There are Sophmores, Juniors, and Seniors in my classes and I'm a Freshman! Advanced classes = older kids with younger kids.... But I am doing great! Goal- Keep my 4.0 GPA (have had 4.0 all my years in school).....
State Fair dog show is this weekend. I am sooo super siked!!! (: Dingo and I show in Obedience on Saturday August the 18th and we show in Agility on Sunday the 19th. Tomorrow evening when I get off of the bus mom and I will be heading out! It is sooo exciting! State Fair is sooo much fun... I love how all the County's in the dog show get together in a big building and set up big spaces, blocked off with our picnic chairs, with a HUGE space in the middle of our areas where all of us kiddos put our blankies and pillows. We all lay around and sleep, play games, eat fair food and random snacks, play with our dogs and show them and of course the whole reason we are there- to have fun with our friends and dogs! We don't have electronics/technology...It's pure country fair fun! Made up games and board games....Stories....laying around together... It's so much fun! I can't wait (: But it always comes and then goes waaaaay to fast.
Wish us luck, and continued prayers for my grandma would be so very appreciated (:
