Well, Mick gets to stay at our house for 2 weeks. I'm glad to have that little guy around for awhile again. I hated leaving him after spending the week at Nationals. He was so much fun. After this 2 weeks it's going to be even worse ): Oh well, I will just enjoy the time that I have him. He is going to be 8months October 25th. He is growing up so fast! I just looked back at all of his baby pictures... It doesn't seem like it was that long ago. He is almost to the point where I can't pick him up anymore, but I shouldn't be picking him up with my back anyways. And that brings me to the point of how my back is doing. We finally figured out what's going on... Multiple problems at once actually.... but mainly an SI joint or Pelvic obliquay. This just means lots of physical therapy, no stair climbing, no sitting with legs crossed, no standing on one hip...and a lot of other restrictions... But the one restriction I hate this most is no running (along with no other physical activity) which means no agility trials or herding (unless it's some really slow sheep) for awhile. I was really looking forward to an agility trial coming up in November that I entered in... I had to pull entries.. I guess it's not worth seriously injuring my back but I really hate that I won't get to run any trials anymore this year. I was also going to go do a herding trial with Mick this past weekend, but couldn't because of my back. This back injury really has gotten in the way of my dog sports! All I can say is at least I was able to go and show at nationals even thought now we know I probably shouldn't have. My back still hurts extremely bad though, some days are worse than others.
Mick slept through the whole night last night (: He is such a good little puppy....
I have school work to get to....
I'll add more pictures later (:
