Saturday :)
Saturday morning I had to get up at 4am to make the long 3 hour drive to my boyfriend, Michaels, house. My mom, grandma, and I spent the whole day with Michael and his family along with Mick's breeder, Julie . I got to meet all of Michael's dogs and play with their sheep!!!! Michael and I also got to spend some time together just hanging out and talking and playing with Mick. It was great. I had a fun time playing with their big herd of sheep. I was a little scared at first. But I had lots of fun feeding them treats and petting them. I liked their ears... So soft! We also celebrated Michaels birthday! It was really sad when we had to leave but I was so happy that I had my puppy back and he was getting to come back home with me.
Sunday :)
On Sunday Mick, Dingo, Sassy, and I spent the day at our first 4H class for this year. Mick did great! It was his first class and he just did awesome!!!! He did great on heeling and learning where heel position is and he's catching on that he must sit in heel position when we stop. He is also learning to down on command. Since Mick has a sensitive stomach though, he is being trained with very few treats but with lots of praise and a small squeaky fish. He loves it. He is actually more motivated with the toy and it keeps him happy, focused, and excited.
Dingo and Sassy also did great. They had to split their time for this week though because I had to leave early for the agility awards banquet. In 4H you see, there is 3 classes plus dog drill team at the end. This year I have a dog in each class plus I participate in drill team. Which I have for the past 3 years now. Yesterday I had to leave early though and I didn't get to stay for the last class which is Dingos class (drill team hasn't started this year yet). So Sassy had to share her class with Dingo. They did awesome though. Dingo was so happy to be training and Sassy was too. I was so happy to be out there training with them again. I haven't gotten a chance to train in awhile. It truly made me happy. And it showed me how much I miss it.
And then last night was the Agility Club of Evansville end of the year awards banquet. It was a good time. I got 3 certificates of achievement, Dingo Sassy and Mick each got one. It was a good time :)
Today
And today is going to be spent relaxing and spending time with Micky since I don't have school. I also get to spend the day talking to Michael. I miss him so much and he makes me happy and can always make me smile.
