I close my eyes and all I can see is dogs... I open them and my thoughts are all rapped around what went on today, today's events, how everyone did, the things I didn't know then and I know now and wish I would have done before competing today. Do you know what this means? I have agility dog trial fever. I've been up since 4am preparing for the dog show and been working/showing in agility since 7am.
Wow, it has been a very busy day. Dingo and I showed in Excellent Standard and Excellent Jumpers Agility (AKC)...
Excellent Standard went pretty good. It went really smoothly other than our 2 minor mistakes, as always were my fault. We would have qualified if it wasn't for my bad timing on when to speak. I commanded him mid-air on a jump for the next obstacle which caused him to drop his rear legs too soon and knock a bar. I also turned to quickly which caused him to refuse a jump. I had bad timing earlier this morning in our Standard run. Jumpers went great!!! We Q'd (: Are run was, of course clean, but went really smoothly. The course was full of tight/close turns and front crosses and traps. Those are me and Dingo's favorite kinds of courses. We got our first MXJ leg today and some MACH points!!!!!!!!! (: It's so exciting.
I also learned how to scribe today. I got really good at writing- R,W,F,T without looking, LOL....I also loved the judge. She was so nice and had a sense of humor, which is great in a judge.
We have another long day tomorrow, which I'm super excited about. I have this drive, it's so funny how much I enjoy agility (:
I video-taped my Standard run, but of course forgot to video my Jumpers run, which I qualified in...oh well. I'll add the videos tomorrow... It's getting late and the video is still on my camera and it takes a really long time to load onto my blog.
Good Night Blog,
